Who’s behind this?
Hi, I’m Cliff. I founded Logos Creative, LLC in 2010 to support my growing clientele and allow for future growth. I have and continue to rely exclusively on referrals from previous and existing clients—and I’ve yet to have a lull in projects. I strive to design and build quality, sustainable products that keep these clients from having to pay more money, whenever possible, to me or anyone else. Foresight, honesty, and communication create value both now and for years to come.
Shouldn’t it be Creative Logos?
Nope, because logos doesn’t refer to the plural of logo, it’s a Greek word (λόγος). From Wikipedia:
Originally a word meaning “a ground”, “a plea”, “an opinion”, “an expectation”, “word,” “speech,” “account,” “reason,” it became a technical term in philosophy, beginning with Heraclitus (ca. 535–475 BC), who used the term for a principle of order and knowledge.
The term has been used to mean discourse, an argument, or the truth:
In ordinary, non-technical Greek, logos had a semantic field extending beyond “word” to notions such as, on the one hand, language, talk, statement, speech, conversation, tale, story, prose, proposition, and principle; and on the other hand, thought, reason, account, consideration, esteem, due relation, proportion, and analogy.
My goal is to help you define and convey your logos. You believe in what you’re doing (your business, your non-profit, your personal project), and you need to tell others about it effectively. Doing so requires a conversation between you and everyone else—together, we can shape that conversation and actualize its potential.
